About Us

We are a Scout Group based in a rural location on the edge of Salisbury Plain. We have 60 members aged 6-18 years, who we help develop by involving them in active outdoor pursuits and community services – encouraging them to have a positive impact on their neighborhood, whilst learning important life skills in a safe environment. Our members are drawn from a wide cross section of the community and from a number of surrounding villages where there are little no facilities/clubs for children.

The group attends local events such as village fetes and fun days to raise funds. We also raise money for other charities such as Children in Need, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and our local church. We also Litter Pick for 3 Villages which we believe will teach the children to respect their local surroundings. Once a month the whole group attends Church Parade at Bulford St Leonards Church. We aim to give the children a sense of being part of a wider community outside their school life.

Welcome Pack

We have produced a welcome pack for parents/guardians which gives information about the Group, Salisbury Scout Shop and also includes the forms that need to be filled in for all the children. A PDF copy is available. Welcome Pack.pdf
